World Cup video game captures intensity of soccer field
EA Sports has captured the intensity of the World Cup, while polishing the gameplay of soccer, in 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.
This edition of FIFA features all 32 teams in the World Cup, as well as every national team in the world. The vast amount of teams allows for the player to take a small country, with no realistic chance at even making the World Cup, all the way to Brazil.
The game also offers modes such as Captain Your Country, which allows for a created player to lead his country, and Story of Qualifying, which challenges the player to change the outcome of several qualifying games.
FIFA 14 does not compare to 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil because the creators fixed every issue with the original game as well as improving the overall flow of the game.
According to EASports.com, the creators of this game wanted to focus on making the game easy to pick up for both new and seasoned players.
As a seasoned FIFA player, I would say the game is definitely easy to adjust to.
However, for newer players, it took a few games before they were able to compete on a higher level.
Another new feature to this game is in certain game modes; the player can listen to different radio stations, which allow for an in depth look at the upcoming World Cup.
Overall, I would give this game a 9 out of 10; however the more I play the game, the more I enjoy it.
