Q: How do you think the team will do this year as a whole?
Burris: “We should do fine as long as we hang together through the tough part of our schedule and keep improving through the OCC tournament. We have very competitive kids on the team this year, so we just have to stay positive, put in the work and move forward.”
Jeffries: “The team should do well this year; likely second or third in the OCC.”
Q: What are the goals of the team this year?
Burris: “A top three finish in the OCC.”
Jeffries: “The goals are to bring our best game to the court each day and have fun.”
Q: How well do you think the team works together this year?
Burris: “We have very supportive and hard working upperclassmen, so everyone seems to be meshing well.”
Jeffries: “We work together wonderfully, especially the doubles teams. We support each other and help each other out as much as we can.”
