Reboots bring favorite stories back to life
Stories make life worth living, and during these trying times of fear and isolation, people need stories more than ever.
Growing up as part of Gen Z, television has always been a part of my life, and I have many early memories of time spent watching Ninja Turtles, Blues Clues, and Scooby-Doo.
These shows and many others, had an effect on people and provided a message with which they could connect, and that is why I am glad that all of the shows I have listed have been rebooted.
Shows can become obsolete, the visuals can look dated, certain aspects can become dated, but stories will never become obsolete.
I am of the belief that reboots are a good thing; they provide the opportunity to reimagine and recreate things on which today’s kids could have forever missed.
The effect a good story can have on someone cannot be appreciated enough, and reboots are certainly one of the best ways to capitalize on that.
